Forget the old swipe mechanics. In Fusion Core, you tap empty spots to pull nearby blocks toward you. The system intelligently selects which block to move based on proximity and value – giving you precise control over every move.
Tap Empty Spots to Attract
Simply tap any empty cell. The nearest block will be pulled to that spot. If multiple blocks are equidistant, the highest value block takes priority.
Automatic Merge Detection
When blocks of the same value become adjacent (2 or more connected), they automatically fuse into a higher value. Chain reactions create massive combos!
Strategic Grid Management
Every move counts. Transport without merging adds a new block. Only combos of 3+ clear space. Master the balance between risk and reward.
Risk & Reward: The Combo System
Simple 2-merges just maintain the status quo. To truly dominate, you need to engineer powerful 3+ combos that clear space and multiply your score exponentially.
Exponential Scoring System
2-merge: Base value × 2. 3-merge: Base value × 4 (double efficiency). 4+ merge: Base value × 8 (quadruple efficiency). Go big or go home!
Dynamic Difficulty Balance
Transport (move only) adds +1 block. Basic merge (2 blocks) maintains balance. Combo (3+ blocks) reduces block count – the only way to create breathing room.
Intelligent AI Spawning
The Smart Spawn AI analyzes the board and places new blocks strategically. It avoids blocking critical merges while sometimes setting up helpful gaps for your next combo.
